Family Nurse Practitioner
Rebecca Bartlett is a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and a licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing. She completed her nurse practitioner education at the top of her class from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana, where she was a member of the international nursing honor society, Sigma Theta Tau. In the course of her studies, Mrs. Bartlett completed rotations in pediatrics, women’s health, primary care, and gerontology specialties. During this time, she developed an interest in dermatology. She began her full-time dermatology training with Dr. Long in July 2017.
Mrs. Bartlett is a central Louisiana native. She graduated with honors from Pineville High School before attending Louisiana College in Pineville, Louisiana. At Louisiana College, she served in numerous leadership roles and graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree. After becoming licensed as a Registered Nurse, Mrs. Bartlett worked in both inpatient and outpatient surgical settings as a preoperative and postoperative nurse for eleven years. During this time, she obtained national certification as a perioperative nurse by the American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (ASPAN). While working as a Registered Nurse, Mrs. Bartlett also completed a Master’s of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in nursing education. Her work history also includes teaching both classroom and clinical under-graduate nursing students at Louisiana State University at Alexandria.
Currently, Mrs. Bartlett resides in Alexandria, Louisiana with her husband and their two small children.
